Gunsmoke Collector's Edition (Kitty's Injury, Where'd They Go?, Colleen So Green, The Ex-urbanites)

Kitty's Injury: While returning from an outing with Matt, Kitty is thrown from her horse and is badly injured. Matt carries her to a nearby shack, where they encounter the Judson family, a hostile raging family of derelicts. Afraid to leave her alone with the unsavory lot, Matt finds himself in the uncomfortable position of having to rely on the lazy occupants to summon Doc. Where'd They Go: Matt and Chester set out to arrest Clint Dodie for allegedly robbing the general store. When the two arrive at Dodie's ranch, the foxy farmer outwits them and they wind up doing all his chores. Dodie tells them that his wife is expecting a baby any day, and that if he is imprisoned with the farmwork undone, she will be left destitute. Colleen So Green: Chester, Doc and buffalo skinner Bull Reefer, turn themselves and their purses inside out when Colleen Tawny arrives in town. The beautiful Southern belle claims that while on her way to live with relatives, somone stole her handbag, leaving her totally broke. Bull, Doc, and Chester are instantly smitten and fall victim to the seductive ladie's charms. The Ex-Urbanites: Doc Adams is shot while tending to a gravely wounded man on the open prarie, and Chester is faced with the responsibility of attempting to nurse the irascible physician, while fending off two desperados. Chester and Doc's long-established antagonism flies out the window as the good doctor's life hangs in the balance.
